This position is a key member of the Infrastructure team and is accountable for set up, configuration, and support for internal and/or external networks for The Tile Shop Stores and Distribution centers. Regular activities include network engineering and troubleshooting, project management, data cabling, systems administration in a variety of software and hardware environments, telecom/PBX administration, and root cause analysis in problem solving. The individual in this position will need to have excellent communication skills with end users, work through open issues in an organized and timely manner, and be available in off-hours to support our retail business.
- Develops and maintains all systems, security, and network configurations
- Plan and manage building out new hardware for new employees, Stores or Distribution Centers including PCs, terminals, switches, routers, mobile devices and printers
- Troubleshoot incoming Incidents from end users via phone and tickets created via a Self Service portal
- Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes
- Provide 24X7 emergency support when need. Takes ownership of unplanned system outages/service impacts and drive timely resolution.
- Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan
- Administer and support the company’s enterprise cloud network in Azure.
- Monitoring of and acting on alerts from information data security systems
- Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment
- Experience with Data Cabling / Computer Facilities maintenance
- Manages all IT tasks during new Store construction
- Experience troubleshooting various end-user issues, not limited to networking related issues
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to understand and document network connections, write support procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5 plus years of hands-on experience in network routing and switching
- Experience managing firewall rules and NAT
- Prior working experience with LAN/WAN& SD-WAN
- Prior working experience with VPN
- Router/Swtich/Firewall/Wireless experience
- Fiber connectivity and Broadband Experience
- Ability to understand and document network connections, write support procedures
- Prior use of monitoring tools
- Work with teleco and network providers
- CCNA, Network +, other network certifications
