SUMMARY: MERGEFIELD "Summary" Responsible for troubleshooting critical issues, including PC, server or networking, mobility, software and hardware across multiple sites. Serves as lead IT liaison between business unit and IT departments.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: MERGEFIELD "General_Responsibilities" Provide assistance and support to problem recognition, research, isolation and resolution steps. Interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems. Simulate or recreate IT problems to resolve operating difficulties. Recommend systems modifications to reduce environment problems. Record, track and document the problem-solving process for each ticket, including steps taken through to final resolution. Provide hardware, software and networking support. Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced network issues. Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting and test fixes prior to closing tickets to ensure problems are adequately resolved. Use problem management database and help desk system. May provide guidance/training for business unit. Maintain currency and high level of technical skill in field of expertise. Prioritize issues and escalate more complex problems to second level support, senior level, or supervisor as needed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: MERGEFIELD "Education" Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or a related field; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.

EXPERIENCE: MERGEFIELD "Experience" 5 or more years technical experience working in a field services or networking environment. Must have a vast knowledge of and experience delivering technical capabilities across multiple technologies/platforms; experience working with multiple 3rd party vendors/support services.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: MERGEFIELD "Technical_Proficient" Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams and Sharepoint. Working knowledge of software, databases and virtual cloud environments. Working knowledge of hardware, including repair and ability to communicate and determine hardware issues. Working knowledge on advanced networking environment, including wireless networking and mobile/cellular networking. Experience with architectural process flows and scripting.

Knowledge of and the ability to utilize tools, concepts, principles and practices of data collection, analysis and testing. Knowledge of training methodologies and the ability to develop and facilitate technical/operational training to others. skills, leadership skills, and analytical skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

OTHER: Bi-lingual capabilities required (English/Spanish). MERGEFIELD "Other" Professional certification such as IT Architect Certification or the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) preferred. N+ and A+ certification preferred. Ability to travel up to 25% and work flexible hours.

WORKING CONDITIONS: MERGEFIELD "Working_Conditions" Works both inside an office environment and also outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, and dirt.
