We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our growing team! In this role, you will design, implement, maintain, and support a growing network infrastructure in Hawaii. As part of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing scalable, maintainable, and highly available network architectures that meet mission-critical requirements.
This role requires up to 25% travel, which may include site visits, client meetings, team offsites, or industry events. Travel will be scheduled as needed based on project demands and business priorities.
What You'll Be Doing:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Participate in customer planning sessions to define networking requirements
Design and implement IPv4 network architectures, including subnetting and address allocation, to support secure and scalable communications solutions
Configure and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) using industry-standard protocols and best practices, including subnet masking and routing
Install, configure, and troubleshoot network services and applications on Linux-based systems
Assist in designing and implementing approved networking and transport solutions aligned with long‑term IS goals
Install and configure network equipment; provide support to systems administrators
Monitor systems to improve network performance and lead troubleshooting efforts across local and external sites
Apply DoD Information Assurance (IA) policies to the design and maintenance of communications solutions
Manage and maintain a library of network engineering tools for system testing and diagnostics
Apply advanced engineering principles to develop and maintain network standards, procedures, and guidelines
Maintain current knowledge of networking security best practices and implement them across systems
Produce documentation for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and operator usage
Contribute technical content and tutorials to product documentation
Support Agile workflows (Jira, Confluence, GitLab)
Provide onsite support in a classified environment (remote work limited to short-duration NIPR with sponsor approval)

Must be a US Citizen
Must have an ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of related experience; additional years experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining network architectures, including IPv4 addressing and subnetting
Experience configuring, operating, and troubleshooting complex systems and network equipment (TACLANEs, firewalls, routers, switches)
Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Linux-based systems in a networked environment
Demonstrated ability to design and implement subnetting strategies to optimize network performance and security
A valid U.S. passport is required for all official travel outside the continental United States (OCONUS)
