Responsibilities
Design, configure, implement, and maintain complex network and security solutions
Troubleshoot LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, Firewall, and NGFW systems
Manage patches and updates for network devices and solutions
Monitor network performance and capacity, and implement improvements as needed
Ensure network security by developing, implementing, and enforcing policies, standards, and guidelines
Prepare and present reports on network operational status, including analysis and prioritization of issues
Provide remote support to on-site engineers, end users, and customers
Collaborate regularly with project management, engineering, and service desk teams to ensure smooth operations and project delivery
Requirements
3+ years of experience in network administration
3+ years professional experience maintaining Cisco or Fortinet or Check Point Next-Gen Firewall environment
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly analyze network issues and understand their impact on business operations
Experience with network monitoring tools and a solid understanding of network protocols
In-depth knowledge of L2/L3 protocols, including STP, LACP, L2 security, 802.1x, OSPF, BGP, and related deployment and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of TCP/IP stack protocols, such as DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, and ICMP
Hands-on experience with wireless network services, including deployment and troubleshooting
Knowledge of VPN solutions and encryption technologies
Basic familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, a customer-focused mindset, and effective communication skills in English
A significant advantage would be
Cisco CCNA certification; CCNP Enterprise certification is a strong plus
Fortinet NSE 4 certification
Check Point CCSA certification
Experience with public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Hands-on experience with Meraki cloud deployments
Automation skills, including Python or Bash scripting, API programming, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible or Terraform
