Position Overview:
The Network Engineer will support Artivion with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network and firewall infrastructure, working under the guidance of senior engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and Configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing network problems and performance
- Monitoring and reporting on network performance and availability
- Assist with implementing and maintaining security measures and protocols
- Colaborate with other team members and departments to support network solutions
- Maintain documentation of network infrastructure and configuration
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of experience working with network protocols (IP,TCP, UDP), network hardware, and software
- Familiarity with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Ability to analyze network issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work effectively with other team members and cross-functional teams
- A desire to learn and grow in the field of network engineering
