The Opportunity:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic team at Haramain Systems Inc. In this direct-hire role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure optimal performance and security of all networking components.
Job Responsibilities:- Design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements and comply with industry standards.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network configurations.
- Ensure network security through effective monitoring, firewalls, and access controls.
- Document network configurations, updates, and changes to maintain accurate network records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related IT role.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, etc.) and protocols.
- Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and wireless technologies.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar are highly desirable.
- Experience with cloud networking and virtualization technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (Python, Ansible, etc.) to improve network operations.
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark) for performance analysis.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
