Titan Technologies is seeking a hands-on, technically proficient Lead Network Engineer to architect, implement, and maintain resilient, secure enterprise network infrastructure supporting distributed and hybrid environments within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

You will serve as the subject matter expert in the areas of LAN/WAN design, network security, DNS, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of modern network architectures, protocols, and toolsets necessary to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Architect, test, and implement enterprise networking solutions supporting on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Manage the design and integration of WAN, LAN, DNS, wireless, VPN, and network security technologies across multiple sites.
  • Evaluate and implement network tools for monitoring, fault isolation, capacity planning, and performance analytics.
  • Support engineering of connectivity to commercial and hybrid cloud service providers, ensuring compliance with DHS, FedRAMP, and internal security requirements.
  • Lead Tier 3 network incident response and provide expert troubleshooting across complex routing and switching environments.
  • Maintain up-to-date network design documentation, configuration standards, and runbooks.

You MUST have:

  • Minimum 10 years of network engineering and design experience supporting enterprise infrastructure.
  • Deep expertise in protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), firewalls, load balancers, SDN/SD-WAN, and cloud networking.
  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
  • An advanced networking certification (i.e., CCIE, JNCIE, etc.) 

It’s great if you also have:

  • Experience supporting secure environments and developing network diagrams and detailed design documents (DDDs).

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT; or 15+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
