Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Network Architect to support the South Carolina Department of Health & Human Services (SCDHHS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, secure, and scalable network infrastructures to support mission-critical healthcare services and systems.
Work Location Requirements:
Must be located in South Carolina.
Open to candidates willing to relocate from Georgia or North Carolina.
Hybrid role: Onsite presence required 2 days per week at Columbia, SC office.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain enterprise network architecture
Ensure high availability, security, and performance of network infrastructure
Collaborate with technical teams on integration, optimization, and troubleshooting
Implement and enforce network policies and best practices
Assist with cloud and on-prem network strategy
Qualifications:
Proven experience in network architecture and design
Strong understanding of enterprise networking, security, and compliance
Experience with government or healthcare clients is a plus
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Relevant certifications (Cisco, Juniper, or similar) preferred
