We are seeking a full-time Network and Systems Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on technical role supporting our infrastructure and systems across multiple sites and platforms. You will be responsible for maintaining stable, secure, and high-performing network and server environments for our clients and internal operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless APs).
- Manage LAN/WAN networks, monitoring performance and minimising downtime.
- Administer Windows Server environments including AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
- Deploy and manage virtualised environments (Hyper-V or VMware).
- Configure and troubleshoot VPNs, VLANs, routing protocols, and firewall rules.
- Implement system monitoring and backup solutions.
- Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Lead cybersecurity awareness training and response procedures.
- Provide end-user support across hardware, software, and connectivity.
- Assist with VoIP system deployments and IP telephony support.
- Maintain documentation and contribute to system improvement projects.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewalls.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualisation technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and backup tools.
- Sound understanding of cybersecurity practices and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
