Network and NW Security Engineer L2

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network and security infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Handle escalated incidents from L1 support and collaborate closely with L3 engineers for complex issues.

Monitor network performance, ensure high availability, and proactively identify potential issues.

Perform network optimization activities and implement performance and reliability improvements.

Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and remediation actions.

Implement and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures.

Utilize monitoring tools such as PRTG and SolarWinds to ensure system health and uptime.

Prepare and maintain High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.

Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure secure and efficient operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 7+ years of experience in network and security engineering.

Mandatory certifications: CCNA and Fortinet NSE 4.

Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco technologies.

Strong knowledge of firewalls, proxies, WAN optimization, and load balancing.

Proven experience in troubleshooting complex network and security issues.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident management skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
