Key responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Perform regular network maintenance, including upgrades and patch management.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and implement robust security protocols.
- Provide technical support to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Responsible for providing consulting and advisory services related to network security.
- Experience and therefore know the ins and outs of networks in general or within a specific specialization, feeling at home in medium to large IT environments and knowing all about IT concepts, technology and products
- Technical knowledge in the following networking domains and/or technologies:
- Network architectures and concepts, SDN, IAAS
- WAN, LAN, WLAN, MPLS, SDWAN
- Routing and switching, TCPIP, OSPF, BPG, etc.
- Cisco Nexus and Catalyst , HPE, Aruba, Cisco Router
- Technical knowledge in the following security domains and/or technologies:
- IP networking & routing
- Firewalling (Palo Alto, Fortinet, CheckPoint)
- VPN (IPSEC and/or SSL)
- IDS/IPS
- Authentication & Authorization – WAN optimization
- Cloud
- Firewall Technical knowledge
- Palo Alto
- Checkpoint
- Fortinet
- CyberSecurtiy Knowledge
- Fluent in English and Portuguese (spoken & written)
- Linux & Windows Operating Systems
Skills Required
- Experience with networks and medium-to-large IT environments
- Knowledge of network architectures, SDN, and IaaS
- Knowledge of WAN, LAN, WLAN, MPLS, and SD-WAN
- Knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, OSPF, and BGP
- Experience with Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst, HPE, Aruba, and Cisco routers
- Knowledge of IP networking and routing
- Firewall experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Check Point
- Knowledge of IPsec and/or SSL VPN
- Knowledge of IDS/IPS
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization
- Knowledge of WAN optimization and cloud technologies
- Cybersecurity knowledge
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Portuguese
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
