Position title: Network Administrator
Location: Fort Bragg (Fort Liberty), NC
Clearance required: SECRET
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot local enclave network infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable operations.
- Support routine and emergent network operations for mission training environments.
- Monitor network performance and implement optimizations as needed.
- Identify, isolate, and resolve network issues to maintain high availability.
- Assist in implementing security measures to protect network integrity and DoD information systems.
- Associate in a related technical discipline or equivalent military training (e.g., 25B/H/N).
- DCWF Network Operations Specialist (441) at Intermediate, with Security+, CCNA, or Network+.
- Networking concepts and protocols.
- Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Network security principles and architecture.
- Network systems management.
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, and firewalls.
- VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
- 3 years in a senior technical role on a DoD network; extensive hands-on Cisco infrastructure experience including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
Skills Required
- Secret security clearance
- Associate degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent military training (e.g., 25B/H/N)
- DCWF Network Operations Specialist (441) at Intermediate
- Security+, CCNA, or Network+ certification
- 3 years in a senior technical role on a DoD network
- Extensive hands-on Cisco infrastructure experience including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
- Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Network security principles and architecture
- Network systems management
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics
