Location: Washington, DC Metro (Hybrid).  Hybrid role with 2–3 days onsite at client locations. Candidates within 25 miles of a DXC office are expected to be on-site two days per week.

Overview: A NetSuite Financials Functional Consultant responsible for configuring and optimizing NetSuite ERP in an applications managed services setting.  Must have knowledge and working experience of financial processes, including general ledger, month-end close, and accounts payable/receivable. The role involves gathering requirements, configuring the system, providing support, and troubleshooting issues. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential for this role. 

Key responsibilities

  • Requirement gathering: Work with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into functional NetSuite solutions.
  • System configuration: Configure NetSuite to align with client business processes, including financial workflows, general ledger, and reporting.
  • Implementation and deployment: Lead end-to-end implementation projects, including data migration from legacy systems.
  • Optimization and support: Provide ongoing support and strategic guidance to optimize system performance and user adoption.
  • Process improvement: Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements and best practices within NetSuite.
  • Training and documentation: Train end-users and create necessary documentation for the system.
  • Troubleshooting: Address and resolve issues that arise during and after implementation. 

Required skills and qualifications

  • Experience with NetSuite ERP implementations and functional consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles (e.g., general ledger, month-end close, AP/AR).
  • Experience with specific financial workflows like Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) is often required.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience with business process mapping and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with integrations is often a plus
