Boeing Netherlands BV is looking for Program/Project Management Specialist to join the team at the Royal Netherlands Air and Space Force, Air Support Command (ASC) Woensdrecht Airbase location,
The Program Manager position supports the RNLASF AH-64 Apache and CH-47 Chinook helicopter fleet via a Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contract to ensure strong Aircraft availability.
Responsibilities:
  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

The selected candidate:
  • will lead efforts in meeting existing and future Services business for our DCS customers.
  • support the CH-47 and AH-64 RNLASF fleet, via the COHESU (Combined Helicopter Support) PBL contract
  • support any other Netherlands Sustainment Programs.
  • work daily with customer
  • work daily with the teams in Mesa,(Apache) and Philadelphia (Chinook)
  • support other defense programs in the Netherlands
  • 40 hours (Mon-Fri), expected to be onsite minimum of 3-4 days per week

Job Skills & Qualifications:
Basic qualifications/requirements:
  • Relevant working experience (Requirements include 5-8 years related work experience with Program Management Best Practices experience, preferably in a military or aerospace environment.
  • Ability to obtain the following security clearance:
    • Declaration of good behavior obtained via City Councel (VOG - Verklaring omtrent Goed Gedrag)
    • Declaration of no objections via the Military Security & Intelligence Agency (MIVD)
  • English (fluency in verbal and in writing)
  • Dutch (fluency in verbal and in writing)
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications:
  • University Degree and 3-5 years related experience
  • Project Management certification
  • Knowledge of ISO standards
  • EMAR experience

Required skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to project a positive customer interface at all times
  • Capable of analyzing and making sound business judgements
  • Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum direct supervision
  • Good organizational and time management skills

Relocation: This position does NOT offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Skills Required
