Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering the .NET Software Engineer I will develop and maintain payer customer implementations supporting our Authorizations suite. We anticipate this role to be ~90% back-end development with ~10% front-end development.

To be qualified for this position you:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of progressive work experience in an Agile and/or iterative environment
- Leverages or knowledgeable of the following languages & frameworks
- C# .NET
- SQL databases
- JavaScript
- RESTful APIs
- Web services
- Knowledge/experience with Azure cloud is a plus.
- Knowledge/experience with Visual Studio is a plus.
- Knowledge/experience with Vue is a plus.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus.

You will be
- Partnering with senior engineers on the team
- Fixing bugs and implementing small features with the guidance of more experienced engineers.
- Hosting and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Learning and applying modern software architecture patterns
- Learning about CI/CD principles using Git, Azure DevOps, and the Azure cloud
- Writing unit tests and debugging the software to ensure quality.
- Learning best practices through coaches/mentors, pair programming, and code reviews
- Committing to continuously acquiring and applying knowledge for the betterment of the team and products.
