About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Back-End .NET Developer to join our Agile development team and support mission-critical systems for a global financial services organization. In this role, you will focus exclusively on backend development, contributing to the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance APIs and microservices.

This is a remote position based in Colombia, offering a collaborative environment with exposure to modern tools and cloud technologies.

• Maintain and enhance legacy applications built with ASP.NET WebForms and AJAX

• Develop backend functionality using C# and .NET Framework/Core

• Design, consume, and support RESTful APIs and web services

• Collaborate with the team to deliver features within sprints and Agile ceremonies

• Work with MySQL and ensure performance-optimized queries and data models

• Apply strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) in daily development tasks

• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices, including unit and integration testing

• Troubleshoot and debug production issues related to legacy and new systems

• Min 4+ years of experience in .NET development (C#)

• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET WebForms and AJAX

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles

• Proficiency with relational databases, specifically MySQL

• Experience with Entity Framework or ADO.NET for data access

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and service integrations

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
