As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a .NET & React Full Stack Developer.

Project Summary

AIS is seeking a .NET & React Full Stack Developer to join our team and support a mission-critical federal client in Washington, DC.  

In this role, you will contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of secure web applications and services that support high-impact operations. You will work hands-on with the .NET framework and modern front-end technologies to build clean, efficient, and reliable solutions that integrate seamlessly across backend, frontend, and cloud environments. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack application features using C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, SQL Server, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS 
  • Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using React and modern UI development practices 
  • Develop scalable and secure backend components and APIs to support application functionality 
  • Modify and enhance existing code to improve performance, usability, and maintainability 
  • Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and services as needed 
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, requirements analysis, development, testing, and deployment 
  • Write clean, maintainable, and secure code aligned with best practices and team guidelines 
  • Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure functionality and reliability 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and performance issues 
  • Use Git/GitLab for version control, branching, and team collaboration 
  • Assist with remediation of code and package vulnerabilities identified through security scans 

Required For This Opportunity

  • Active Top Secret clearance is required 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field 
  • 3–5 years of professional software development experience using C# and the .NET framework 
  • Hands-on experience with ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and SQL Server 
  • Experience developing front-end applications or components using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS 
  • Familiarity with architectural patterns and API styles, including REST and/or RPC 
  • Experience integrating front-end components with back-end services and APIs 

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure 
  • Basic understanding of DevOps practices or exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) 
  • Experience working with Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs) such as Entity Framework 
  • Knowledge of relational or NoSQL database design principles 
  • Experience with containerization tools such as Docker 
  • Exposure to UI component libraries or modern front-end design patterns 
  • Relevant certifications in .NET development, React/front-end development, cloud technologies, or software engineering 
At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member. The targeted base salary range for this role is $100,000-$150,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location. We value transparency in our hiring process and are happy to discuss how your unique qualifications align with our compensation structure during the interview process.
