Role Description:

The DataScope suite of applications is part of our Pricing and Reference Service business. It is a respected application used in the wider finance industry where clients can do downloads of Pricing and Reference data in customized and standardized reports. The applications have ~4000 external clients who consume financial data to analyse funds and the market position of global industry players.
In this role you will be joining our Pricing & Reference Services Engineer Team to work as a .NET Frontend Engineer on the Data Scope suite of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality software applications using .Net / Asp.Net technologies.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define requirements, design features, and implement solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following standard methodologies.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security of applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues and propose solutions to complex problems.
• Mentor and coach junior developers, sharing knowledge and standard methodologies.
• Stay updated with the latest industry .Net trends and technologies.

Candidate Profile / Key Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in .Net Front End developer
• Solid knowledge of and .NET Framework 4.8+, ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC
• Strong proficiency in C#, with a deep understanding of .Net core concepts (multithreading, collections, IO, etc.).
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database systems.
• Experience with REST API Services and web development HTTP/HTTPS and AJAX
• Good knowledge of JavaScript and js-frameworks: jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database systems.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and collaborators.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time.

Qualifications
Educational Background:
Bachelor's or equivalent experience or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
