Job Duration: 12 – 18 Months
QualificationsRequired Skills:
• 5+ years commercial experience, preferably in distributed systems development.
• Strong C# skills. C# 3.0 minimum, 5.0 preferred. We make use of language enhancements such anonymous methods, dynamic type inference, lambda expressions, asynchronous programming constructs, etc.
• 6-8 years of SQL in SQL Server 2008 or higher
• Prior Capital Markets experience required
• WCF, particularly over HTTP.
• ASP.NET MVC. 3.0 minimum, 5.0 preferred.
• OR/M (Object-Relational Mapping) systems. EF (Entity Framework) preferred.
• Working knowledge of Design Patterns (GoF/PofEAA) & architectural styles, commercial experience preferred. Particularly:
• REST (Representational State Transfer),
• SOA/ED-SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture /Event Driven-SOA),
• IoC (Inversion of Control).
• MEP (Message Exchange Patterns), and,
• MVC (Model-View-Controller).
Job Description:
• Unit testing experience. Test experience preferred, but NUnit, xUnit, or any other established unit testing framework will do.
• Implement SSIS ETL to generate input and output feeds based on the feed specs
• Implement ability to source late feeds and trigger reruns
• Implement data validation and data quality checks
