Responsibilities
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents new or changes to existing software applications using standardized development environment (.NET, MSSQL, SSRS) and following corporate standards (e.g. Agile methodology);
- Collaborate with other teams (TERI-India, US, etc);
- Responsible for the daily management of software applications to ensure they are operating reliably, at the required level of availability, according to current business needs. This responsibility includes specific activities of application systems and database administration, performance monitoring and technical problems solving;
- Continuously improve software applications reliability and availability by following and further developing existing Lean-based M&S best practices and recommending enhancements for improving performance, application consolidation and integration opportunities;
- Fulfil all security and control requirements for in scope applications as defined by the corporate IT standards;
- Timely and on specs resolve all Information Technology Requests to keep existing applications in line with current business needs;
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve moderately complex problems using available information systems technologies, keeping in mind the capacities and limitations of people, equipment, operating time and form of desired results.
Requirements
- Over 5 years experience in .Net development, especially web apps;
- Advanced SSRS development skills;
- Advanced MS SQL Server programming;
- Certification in .NET programming;
- Experience with SCRUM, Agile software development methodologies;
- Understand ERP concept (e.g. SAP R/3);
- Experienced in developing and managing software application systems using industry tools and methodologies (.NET, MSSQL, TFS, SSRS, Agile methodology).
