    Role: .NET Developer (Sitecore and Entity Framework Specialist)

    Location: Remote

     

    We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong expertise in Sitecore and Entity Framework to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and content management systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in .NET technologies, coupled with hands-on experience in Sitecore development and data integration using Entity Framework.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    Application Development:

    • Design and develop web applications and CMS solutions using .NET technologies and Sitecore.

    • Implement robust and maintainable application architectures.

    • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in C# and ASP.NET.

    Content Management with Sitecore:

    • Build and customize Sitecore-based applications, templates, components, and workflows.

    • Manage and integrate content management features with back-end services.

    • Optimize Sitecore applications for performance, scalability, and user experience.

    Database Integration:

    • Use Entity Framework to manage data access and integrate with relational databases.

    • Design and implement database schemas to meet application requirements.

    • Optimize database queries and Entity Framework configurations for performance.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product owners, and back-end developers.

    • Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

    Testing and Quality Assurance:

    • Develop unit tests, integration tests, and automated test scripts to ensure code quality.

    • Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.

    • Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and provide timely resolutions.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay updated with the latest Sitecore, .NET, and Entity Framework advancements.

    • Identify and implement improvements in development processes and application performance.

    • Collaborate on architectural decisions to ensure scalability and maintainability.

     

    Required Skills and Expertise:

    Technical Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of .NET Framework, .NET Core, and C#.

    • Hands-on experience with Sitecore CMS (preferably Sitecore 9 or higher).

    • Expertise in Entity Framework for database access and integration.

    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.

    • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and deploying Sitecore in cloud environments.

    • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.

    • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git.

    Soft Skills:

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.

    • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

    • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • Sitecore Developer Certification is highly desirable.

    • Experience with SQL Server and database design principles.

    • Familiarity with SOLID principles and design patterns.

    • Knowledge of Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) features like personalization and analytics is a plus.
