.NET Developer (C#, ASP.NET, Cloud, IoT, Blockchain)

Synechron is seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our innovative technology team. The primary focus of this role is to develop, enhance, and support scalable software solutions across various platforms, leveraging the .NET framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, contributing to the company's digital transformation initiatives. This role offers a dynamic environment for professionals passionate about emerging technologies and modern development practices.

Required:

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework/Core (version 4.x or higher).
• Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and related web technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of database management with hands-on experience using SQL Server.
• Understanding of integration techniques including RESTful APIs, SOAP, and microservices.

Preferred:

• Experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript, Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Exposure to mobile platforms, IoT, or blockchain integrations.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).

• Collaborate closely with product managers, analysts, and other developers to understand technical and business needs.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, high-quality applications and modules.
• Write detailed technical specifications and documentation for new features and system enhancements.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, supporting continuous system improvement.
• Stay current with evolving .NET technologies and recommend incorporating relevant advancements.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Support the deployment process by integrating automated tests and scripts into CI/CD pipelines.

Programming Languages & Frameworks:

• Essential: C# with .NET (Core or Framework) (version 4.x or higher)
• Preferred: Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework

Databases & Data Management:

• Strong experience with SQL Server, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases or other data storage solutions (preferred)

Cloud & Infrastructure:

• Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure or AWS
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (preferred)

Development Tools & Methodologies:

• Experience with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, or Rider
• Version control systems such as Git
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) experience using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar

Additional Technologies & Concepts:

• Knowledge of mobile, IoT, blockchain, or related emerging technologies (preferred)
• Understanding of security best practices in application development
• Experience with API design, development, and testing (REST, SOAP)

• Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in software development using .NET technologies
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications
• Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms and integrating modern technologies
• Experience with Agile development cycles and tools such as JIRA, Confluence
• Past involvement in cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews and technical discussions

• Participating in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning sessions
• Collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements
• Developing, testing, and deploying new features using the .NET stack
• Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency
• Troubleshooting system issues, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing solutions
• Updating technical documentation and design specifications
• Keeping abreast of technological trends and proposing innovative solutions for business needs
• Supporting integration with cloud services, containers, and automated pipelines

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Certifications in .NET development, Azure, or related technologies are a plus
• Demonstrated experience in modern software development practices
