About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Sr .NET Developer with 5-6 years of experience specializing in .NET and Angular to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and containerizing .NET Applications with Azure AKS, SQL Server. Angular experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the high level operation of an application: In order to containerize an existing application/servicea, the developer will need to understand how that works and list potential inbound / outbound dependencies for the same
- Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Collaborate with other teams: other teams might be working in delivering business requirements at the same time that the containerization is going, collaboration is key among them
- Perform Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practices
- Optimize Current flow: Identify and address any optimizations during the application containerization
- Repository containerization: the main objective of the initiative is containerizing existing .NET API and Worker solutions
- Technology upgrade: Some solutions are based on .NetFramework4.8 which requires NET8 conversation before being able to containerize
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-6 years of experience in software development, with a focus on containerized environment development and migration activities.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in .NET Core and .NET Framework.
- Experience containerizing applications
- Experience troubleshooting containerization issues
- Strong analytic skills and ability to perform reverse engineering if needed
- Experience with SQL Server and database design concepts.
- Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
- As a plus, high level understanding of Angular development (not mandatory)
