Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Quality Specialist (Levels 2 or 3) to support the 787 Quality Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd shift.

Position Responsibilities:
- Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment
- Performs ultrasonic A-scan and C-scans of 787 composite fuselage and supporting parts, assemblies and structure
- Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations
- Utilizes technical competencies to provide feedback on adverse trends
- Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products
- Conducts on-the-job training (OJT)
- Adheres to Boeing policies, processes and major inspection methods procedures
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test)
- 1+ years of experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units
- Willing to work variable shifts, including weekend and overtime
- Ability to pass near vision and color perception exams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test)
- 3+ years of experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units
- Current or prior NAS410 or equivalent certified Level 2/3 in Ultrasonic Testing; must have documented evidence available for Boeing Level 3 review
- Experience analyzing & interpreting Ultrasonic C-scans.
- Experience running automated inspection equipment
- Certification in any other NDT method (ET, PT, MT, RT); must have documented evidence available for Boeing Level 3 review
- Able to work from heights up to 55 feet
- Experience inspecting composite material
- 3+ years of experience writing NDT procedures and techniques
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies

Summary Pay Range Level 2: $57,800 - $78,200
Summary Pay Range Level 3: $68,000 - $92,000
