FLSA Status: Salaried Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. /37.5 hours weekly

Remote work flexibility: however, this is not a full-time remote position, and you must work in the Nashville office two days per week or as needed.

Responsibilities:

The NCD Coordinator supports the core functions of the Client Services Department and is expected to follow established departmental procedures while performing position-specific duties. Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining data in the National Candidate Database for the Uniform CPA Examination; providing exceptional service to clients and customers; and assisting state boards of accountancy and candidates throughout the Computer-Based Testing (CBT) process.

Responsibilities:

The NCD Coordinator supports the core functions of the Client Services Department and is expected to follow established departmental procedures while performing position-specific duties. Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining data in the National Candidate Database for the Uniform CPA Examination; providing exceptional service to clients and customers; and assisting state boards of accountancy and candidates throughout the Computer-Based Testing (CBT) process.

Position Requirements:

o Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the accountancy boards and staff 

o Review and resolve all candidate data validation processing errors

o Participate and conduct training over the NCD Database system and CBT process

o Provide technical support for the accountancy boards over the NCD processes

o Generate reports related to the NCD data

o Review Center Problem Reports (CPR)

o Assist accountancy boards and candidates with examination administration issues 

o Assist accountancy boards and candidates with NCD payment issues

o Manage the NABSA Candidate Accounts

o Ability to travel and proctor the CPA examination  

o Process and send out Notice to Schedules and Payment Coupons to candidates

o Process scores and release score notices to the accountancy boards and candidates

o Receive and process exception to policies, unburn requests and receipts request in accordance with NCD policies and procedures 

o Maintain candidate records by documenting any updates to names, emails, postal addresses or candidate test event experience

o Adhere to all NCD documented policies and procedures

o Attend meetings and actively participate as a member of the NCD department

o Respond to accountancy board and candidate inquiries via email and telephone within 24-48 hour time frame

o Monitor the phone lines and perform Customer Service duties as needed

o Protect organization's values by keeping customers’ personally identifiable information (PII) confidential

o Work well under pressure and consistently meet established work timelines

o Display basic problem solving and analytical skills

o Maintain superior levels of customer service

o May be required to work some weekends as business needs dictate

o Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor 

Functional Relationships: All NASBA departments, employees and boards. 

Internal Customer: CPA Examination Services and related internal staff.

External Customers: Accountancy Boards, AICPA, Prometric, current and potential CPA candidates.

o Minimum of 5 years of college/work experience in an office setting
