We are seeking a senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality ecommerce websites based on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Salesforce Reference Architecture (SFRA). This role is critical to delivering scalable, secure, and maintainable storefronts that meet business requirements and drive customer engagement.
This position offers the opportunity to lead technical design, champion coding and security best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence architecture and delivery across the ecommerce platform. The role emphasizes hands-on development, code review, and end-to-end ownership across the software development lifecycle.
- Design and implement SFCC/SFRA-based storefront components and integrations.
- Develop scalable, unit-testable JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, and CSS3 solutions for ecommerce features.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager settings and site configurations.
- Integrate with external systems using RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, security practices, and architectural patterns.
- Build resilient solutions with clear documentation and automated unit tests.
- Participate in planning, design, implementation, deployment, operations, and support activities.
- Collaborate with product owners, QA, and other developers to deliver high-quality ecommerce solutions.
- Assess ecommerce system designs, integrate components from other teams, and ensure architectural integrity.
- Leverage Microsoft Co-Pilot to improve development productivity and code quality.
- 5+ years experience in web development
- Knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), familiarity with SFRA
- Strong proficiency in front end technologies, particularly JavaScript ES6, HTML5, CSS3
- Experience with Angular, or flexibility to experience with React.
- Familiarity with SFCC Business Manager configuration
- Proficient in integrating with REST/SOAP services, including authentication and data transformation
- Knowledge of web security principles and protecting sensitive data in commerce applications
- Experience with version control, GitHub Co-Pilot, Microsoft Co-Pilot
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (QA, backend, UX/UI).
- Familiarity with microservices built in .NET/Azure, especially for integration work.
- Backend development experience.
