This role plans and manages allocated supply chain resources and demand processes for imported products to ensure the business meets agreed customer service targets at minimal operating cost and optimum stock levels. Ensures the business meets trade compliance obligations and serves as CTPAT coordinator for the business.
Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Trade Compliance Manager, handling entry documentation, import broker coordination, and audit-ready compliance records.

Administer the company’s CTPAT program, ensuring ongoing certification and adherence to security standards.

Interpret and apply relevant U.S. Customs, trade laws, and sanctions, advising on operational and customer impacts.

Oversee demand and supply planning for imported products, including setting inventory targets based on sales forecasts and global conditions.
-
Manage inventory for imported materials across U.S. warehouses to ensure product availability and cost efficiency.
-
Partner with the Foreign Trade team to monitor and implement U.S. sanctions programs applicable to operations and customer activities.

Drive continuous improvement in compliance procedures and supply chain efficiency.

Ensure compliance with Free Trade Agreements and other international trade requirements.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Chemistry, Business Administration, or International Trade) or 10+ years of relevant experience in the Chemical or Supply Chain industry.

Solid knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, international trade law, and financial sanctions.

Proven experience with import logistics, inventory planning, and compliance auditing.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership, external partners, and government entities.

Excellent organizational, leadership, and project management skills.

Proficiency in SAP and supply chain tools.

Attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
