Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Connect with customers to understand North American (NAM) software market needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring features and user stories deliver real customer value.
  • Collaborate with the global development team by clarifying requirements, providing feedback, and supporting knowledge transfer between the NAM and Boenen teams.
  • Contribute to software development through coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, documentation, and ongoing system maintenance.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, apply fixes and enhancements, and support on-farm software deployments.
  • Requires strong communication skills, teamwork in a multi-national environment, comfort working with livestock, and willingness to travel to customer farms (~20%).

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience in software requirements engineering
  • Proficiency in C++ programming & version control systems (git)
  • Ticket & documentation systems (JIRA/Confluence)
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • 1-5 years engineering experience
  • Strong desire to learn
  • Good work ethic
  • Strong team player
  • Well-developed communication skills both written and oral

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $100,000 - $118,000 per year.  GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.

The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.  You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
