The NAM ON Remote Delivery Engineering (RDE) Lead is responsible for leading a high‑performing, customer‑focused engineering organization that delivers ON professional services. The NAM ON RDE lead is accountable for management of all resources, labs, and services delivered by own Nokia and subcontractor resources in NAM ON Remote Delivery Engineering team. NAM ON RDE role will report directly to NAM NI Remote Delivery Engineering lead in the NAM CDO Customer Engineering team.
NAM ON Remote Delivery Engineering Leadership & Organizational Development
Single point of contact for ON RDE for NAM region
Ownership of NAM ON RDE CAPEX/OPEX and Subco budget planning and control.
Manage resource competency and capacity demand planning to/from other region ON RDEs
Lead and develop a multi‑disciplinary engineering team
Build a high‑performance culture focused customer business outcomes, operational/financial discipline, and continuous improvement.
Set strategic direction, align team structures, and oversee workforce planning to support current and future business demands.
Business & Operational Management
Translate organizational goals into executable delivery plans with clear KPIs for quality, efficiency, customer experience, and financial performance.
Plan and control budget, capacity, operational forecasting, and resource planning across engineering delivery functions.
Partner with cross‑functional teams across organizations and regions to support growth initiatives and ensure delivery readiness.
Process Excellence & Governance
Establish and maintain process frameworks that drive repeatability, quality, and operational discipline across engineering delivery functions.
Implement performance governance mechanisms to monitor organizational health and drive continuous improvement.
Lead cross-functional root-cause analysis efforts and corrective action plans to enhance delivery quality.
ulture & Team Engagement
Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusion.
Inspire and motivate engineering teams to achieve organizational goals with clarity, transparency, and accountability.
Build leadership capability across the engineering organization and support succession planning.
Required
10+ years of engineering delivery, technical operations, or network services leadership experience.
Expertise with ON networking technologies, network integration, network automation, and/or telecom engineering services.
Proven experience leading large, multi-functional engineering teams.
Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, delivery KPIs, and operational performance.
Demonstrated success driving automation, process improvement, or service transformation.
Excellent communication, including English proficiency, leadership presence, and customer engagement skills.
