What You Will Do
- Defines and evolves the organization's technology strategy, enterprise architecture principles, and long-term technical roadmap.
- Establishes architectural standards, governance frameworks, and engineering practices that ensure scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions.
- Leads enterprise AI strategy, operating models, and adoption frameworks across business and technology organizations.
- Assesses and recommends emerging technologies, platforms, and AI capabilities that align with business objectives and transformation goals.
- Partners with executive leadership to align technology investments and modernization initiatives with strategic business priorities.
- Defines enterprise patterns, reference architectures, and governance models for AI, cloud, data, and digital platforms.
- Drives innovation through research, experimentation, proofs of concept, and evaluation of emerging technologies that create competitive advantage.
- Establishes responsible AI, security, compliance, and risk management practices to ensure trusted and sustainable adoption of AI technologies.

For This Role You Will Need Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years of technology leadership experience across software engineering, enterprise architecture, digital transformation, or platform engineering.
- Deep expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, distributed systems, and modern engineering practices.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, intelligent automation, and enterprise AI adoption strategies.
- Mastery of problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Mastery of collaboration, influence, and executive stakeholder management.
- Mastery of growth mindset, innovation, and organizational transformation.
- Mastery of execution, strategic planning, and business outcomes delivery.
- Proven ability to influence enterprise technology direction without direct management authority.
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$175,100.00 - $334,750.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
