Shadow Mountain Community Church seeks qualified applicants to fill part-time positions in the music department. The ideal applicants will have experience serving in a church setting as a member of a band or orchestra.
The candidate fulfilling the qualifications will work directly with the Worship Pastor, Music Director, and the various worship leaders with whom they will be serving.
The role of the musician is a dual role serving both as an individual with a particular instrument and as a cohesive part of the band as a whole. He/she will be responsible for attending all rehearsals and services that are scheduled with an ultimate goal of being a conduit for congregation members to respond to God through praise and worship. The candidate must be in full agreement with the mission and vision statements of Shadow Mountain Community Church.
QualificationsThe applicants should have a minimum of 2 years experience serving as a musician in a church setting. He/she will be able to follow musical ideas and notation as set forth on sheet music and have the ability to memorize a piece with ease, as well as have a basic knowledge of music theory.

What We Do
Shadow Mountain Community Church is a Baptist megachurch and Christian organization based in El Cajon, California, affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. It aims to reach the local San Diego community and the global mission field with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through weekly church services, activities at its main and satellite campuses, and international missionary outreach.
