- Understand Murex workflows and processes to create effective test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of Murex modules.
- Validate trade lifecycle events (Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Accounting).
- Coordinate with business analysts, developers, and support teams to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Execute manual and automated tests, report defects, and track them to closure.
- Validate upstream/downstream interfaces and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Conduct impact analysis for change requests and new enhancements.
- Participate in UAT and production support phases.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in testing Murex platform.
- Strong understanding of Murex modules like FO, BO, Risk, and Accounting.
- Experience with trade booking, workflow validation, and report testing.
- Familiarity with financial instruments: FX, IRD, Credit, Commodities, Equities, etc.
- Knowledge of MxML, Datamart, and Murex workflows.
- Good experience in SQL and Unix for data validation and log analysis.
- Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, HP ALM/QC, or similar.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
