Location: Mobile role working on sites around the Yorkshire area
Programme Duration: Up to 42 months

Apprenticeship Programme;
During this programme, we'll help you develop your practical and behavioural skills and support you in gaining the technical and professional knowledge required for you to succeed in your career. As well as this, you’ll also gain a Level 3 Technical Certificate in Engineering (BTEC or equivalent) and a Level 3 Competency Certificate in Engineering (NVQ)
With many of our colleagues starting as apprentices, you’ll receive full support and guidance from everyone throughout.
By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll have received industry-standard training and attained qualifications that will enable you to progress and reach your full potential.
What you'll be doing;
-
Operating and maintaining various types of electrical and mechanical equipment associated with energy plants. This could be steam boilers, hot water boilers, pumps, generators, etc.

Electrical and mechanical isolations when required, using safe systems of work

Routine inspections and servicing of plant and equipment in accordance with a planned preventative maintenance programme

Carry out minor plant modifications, including pump and pipeline installation and assist with the commissioning of new plant and machinery

Carry out all repairs and modifications following the required standards and as directed

Assist with the creation and updating of site risk assessments

Accurately complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner, including a permit to work and the accurate recording of maintenance

Performing any other duties reasonably requested by management
What we're looking for;

A minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade 4/C (or equivalent) achieved or predicted, including Maths & English

Candidates must possess a valid driving licence or be currently working towards obtaining one

Ability to follow health and safety policies and procedures and willingness to challenge unsafe behaviour

Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new skills

Interpersonal Skills

Punctual/excellent time keeping
