Specific Responsibilities:
- Generate revenue through the sale of print, digital, specialty publication, and integrated marketing solutions.
- Prospect for and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories and account lists.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and key performance metrics through proactive prospecting, relationship building, solution-based selling, and effective account management.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consultative sales practices and exceptional service.
- Conduct customer needs assessments and develop customized advertising and marketing recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations utilizing audience data, market research, and product solutions.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to develop advertising strategies, creative concepts, and campaign plans.

- Accurately maintain customer accounts, sales activity, orders, and related information within CRM and company systems.
- Follow company credit and collections policies and assist in managing account receivables as needed.
- Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities to increase customer results, retention, and revenue growth.
- Identify and recommend new products, sales opportunities, and process improvements that enhance customer success and business performance.
- Submit required reports and maintain accurate sales and customer records in a timely manner.
- Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and community networking opportunities.
- Participate in the Great Game of Business and support company initiatives.
- Adhere to all company safety standards, including general workplace safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of one year of experience in advertising, marketing, media sales, business development, or a related field.
- Proven ability to prospect for new business and build customer relationships.
- Strong sales, presentation, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a results-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office applications, and related business software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
- Valid driver's license and adhere to company driving eligibility requirements, including proof of auto insurance.
- Demonstrated alignment with company core values and ESOP culture.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working at a computer.
- Frequent communication with customers, prospects, and employees in person, by phone, video conference, and electronically.
- Regular local travel to customer locations, networking events, and company meetings.
- Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers.
- Ability to transport sales materials, presentation equipment, and marketing materials as needed.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to attend customer events, networking activities, and company functions.
Skills Required
