This role demands a versatile "one-person band" who can seamlessly transition from field reporting to anchoring newscasts, particularly on weekends. • Engage: Generate content through community contacts and social media, maintaining an active presence across all Univision platforms
  • Connect: Build and maintain relationships with local officials, community leaders, and news sources
  • Represent: Participate in community events and maintain the highest standards of professionalism
  • Collaborate: Work as part of a team while demonstrating strong independent news judgment
  • Promote and deliver positive work atmosphere by means of professional manners, mutual respect and clear communication with supervisors, peers, employees, community representatives and audience
  • Other duties as assigned

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Digital Journalism, Radio/Television, or minimum 2 years of multimedia/video journalism experience in television
  • Full bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written)
  • Proficiency with video recording equipment, editing software, and newsroom systems
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of social media metrics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Must be willing to work from office in Sacramento, CA

Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
