The Multimedia Designer brings avertra’s brand, culture, and offerings to life through compelling video, motion, and animation. This role focuses on creating high-impact visual narratives across product demos, walkthroughs, social reels, events, and internal culture content.
Beyond traditional editing, this role embraces AI-powered creative tools to elevate storytelling, speed up production, and unlock new visual possibilities. You will help define how modern, expressive, and forward-thinking Avertra looks and feels across platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Video Production & Storytelling
- Conceptualize, storyboard, set up, film, and edit video content for internal and external campaigns.
- Produce product demos, walkthroughs, and explainer videos that clearly communicate value and functionality.
- Capture and edit footage from interviews, events, office moments, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Create short-form videos and reels optimized for social platforms and brand storytelling.
2. Motion Design & Animation
- Design and produce motion graphics, animations, and transitions aligned with avertra’s brand guidelines.
- Create animated explainers and visual assets that simplify complex ideas and systems.
- Contribute to the evolution of avertra’s motion identity across marketing and internal communications.
3. AI-Enhanced Creative Production
- Leverage AI tools to enhance video editing, animation, sound design, scripting, and visual experimentation.
- Explore new workflows that reduce production time while increasing creative impact.
- Stay up to date with emerging AI capabilities in video and motion design, testing and applying them where they add real value.
- Blend human creativity with AI tools to produce more dynamic, expressive, and scalable content.
4. Collaboration & Creative Execution
- Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, product teams, and subject matter experts to shape compelling visual narratives.
- Translate brand strategy, campaign goals, and messaging into strong visual storytelling.
- Manage production timelines and deliver high-quality output across multiple formats and platforms in a timely manner.
5. Asset Management & Brand Evolution
- Maintain organized video and motion asset libraries for reuse and scalability.
- Ensure consistency in visual quality, tone, and storytelling across all video content.
- Actively contribute ideas and experimentation that push the brand’s visual expression forward.
Requirements
Needed Competencies:
- Strong storytelling instincts and creative direction
- Excellent sense of pacing, rhythm, and narrative flow in video editing
- High attention to visual composition, detail, and motion
- Comfort working across filming, editing, and animation
- Curiosity and willingness to experiment with new tools and techniques
- Strong collaboration, adaptability, and time management skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication, Cinema & Video, Animation Design, Motion Graphics or equivalent certifications/ experience.
Experience
3–5 years of experience in multimedia or motion design
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Experience in motion design and text animation
- Knowledge in lighting, sound, and filming techniques
- Experience with color grading and sound mixing basics
- Knowledge in camera operation and studio setup
- Experience in photography or live event coverage
- Strong understanding of storytelling principles and audience engagement
- You’re proactive, curious, and always looking to push your craft forward through emerging technologies
