Description

The Multi-State Provider Licensure Specialist is responsible for processing, submitting, and maintaining professional licensure applications for healthcare providers across multiple states. This position serves as the organization's subject matter expert on provider licensure and ensures all licenses remain active and compliant with state regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has direct experience managing provider licensure for healthcare professionals, including Physicians, Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, or Licensed Clinical Social Workers. Candidates must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple licensing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience processing and maintaining healthcare provider licensure applications.
  • Strong knowledge of state licensure application and renewal processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage numerous deadlines simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Credentialing experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience managing multi-state provider licensure.
  • Familiarity with credentialing or provider management software.
