About Us

We are a consulting firm specializing in delivering innovative technology solutions to federal government customers. Our team is committed to excellence, collaboration, and empowering our clients through best-in-class Salesforce and MuleSoft solutions. We are seeking a Senior MuleSoft Integration Developer to support a federal government contract, ensuring mission success through technical leadership, professionalism, and innovation.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior MuleSoft Integration Developer to lead the design and delivery of scalable API-led integration solutions within a fast-paced Agile environment. This role partners closely with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into secure, high-performing integrations using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform.

The Senior MuleSoft Developer is responsible for owning solution-level design decisions and implementation strategy for integrations, while aligning with enterprise architecture standards defined by platform or enterprise architects. This role serves as the technical lead for integration workstreams, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and compliant with federal security requirements.

This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role requiring strong technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive integration solutions from concept through deployment and ongoing support.

  • Translate complex business requirements into well-architected integration solutions, including decomposition into services, APIs, and reusable components.
  • Make solution-level architecture decisions (e.g., integration patterns, orchestration vs. choreography, error handling, data transformation approaches) while adhering to enterprise architecture standards.
  • Collaborate with enterprise and platform architects to ensure alignment with broader system architecture, governance, and reuse strategies.
  • Design, develop, and manage scalable APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Anypoint Studio, Exchange, API Manager, Runtime Manager).
  • Define and enforce API design standards, integration patterns, and MuleSoft best practices across the team.
  • Perform advanced data transformation and orchestration using DataWeave.
  • Ensure solutions meet federal security and compliance standards, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and data protection requirements.
  • Analyze vulnerability scan results and lead remediation efforts in alignment with security policies.
  • Lead code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable implementations.
  • Mentor and guide mid-level and junior developers, including reviewing and refining their design contributions.
  • Drive CI/CD pipeline implementation and oversee deployment strategies across environments.
  • Implement and monitor logging, alerting, and performance optimization for MuleSoft applications.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for production integrations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, integration patterns, and deployment procedures.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for integration-related discussions in Agile ceremonies, sprint demos, and client engagements.
  • Identify technical risks, trade-offs, and dependencies, and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Build and manage System, Process, and Experience APIs that enable seamless data exchange with Salesforce.
