Job DescriptionOverview
This role involves designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The Senior MuleSoft Architect will be responsible for leading technical aspects of MuleSoft projects, ensuring best practices, and providing technical guidance to development teams.
Responsibilities
Solution Architecture
- Design and document integration architectures using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Define integration patterns, data mappings, and error handling strategies.
- Ensure solutions align with business requirements and technical standards.
- Conduct interviews with business stakeholders to define business requirements and translate to technical requirements.
Development and Implementation
- Lead the development and implementation of MuleSoft integrations.
- Develop RAML definitions and API specifications.
- Build and deploy Mule flows, APIs, and connectors.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
- Act as an SME for enterprise integrations design and development on the Mulesoft platform
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical audiences.
- Participate in project planning and estimation.
Best Practices and Standards
- Establish and enforce MuleSoft development best practices.
- Define and maintain architectural standards and documentation.
- Research and recommend new MuleSoft features and technologies.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in integration development.
- 3+ years of experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Experience in designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Experience in designing and developing solutions for the Banking Industry.
- [Nice to have] Experience with Banking industry standards such as Banking Industry Architecture Network (BIAN)
Skills
- Strong understanding of integration patterns and architecture.
- Proficiency in RAML, XML, JSON, and other data formats.
- Experience with databases and SQL.
- Knowledge of security protocols and authentication methods.
- Experience designing and implementing Application Developer Portals for API Products.
- Experience using Mulesoft connectors such as SFTP, SNOW, etc.
- MuleSoft certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer, MuleSoft Certified Architect) preferred.
