ACI Money Transfer System (MTS) is a global payment processing solution that enables advanced payment management, execution, and financial messaging. It supports high-value and low-value payments, enterprise payment processing, and internal and external global messaging for financial institutions.
The MTS QA Test Lead will be responsible for leading end-to-end quality assurance activities for ACI MTS implementations, upgrades, and integrations. The role requires strong expertise in payment systems, SWIFT MT/MX and ISO 20022 message validation, test strategy definition, test execution governance, defect management, and stakeholder reporting.
Key Responsibilities·Lead and manage QA and testing activities for ACI MTS projects, including implementation, migration, enhancement, and upgrade initiatives.·Define and own the overall QA strategy, test approach, test plans, test data strategy, and execution governance for MTS engagements.·Validate payment message formats and flows, including SWIFT MT, SWIFT MX, ISO 20022, pacs, camt, CHIPS, and Fedwire messages.·Prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases for MTS components implemented for new Direct Members (DM) and Clearing and Settlement Mechanisms (CSM).·Perform end-to-end functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing across payment processing workflows.·Support MTS test environment readiness, including test data loading, configuration of remote records, test lines, and scenario-specific setup activities.·Coordinate defect triage, retesting, validation of fixes, and closure activities in collaboration with development and business teams.·Track and report test progress, quality metrics, risks, issues, and overall testing status to project stakeholders and leadership teams.·Use test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA or equivalent platforms to manage test execution and defect lifecycle.·Drive quality ownership, ensure adherence to testing best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement across QA delivery.Required Skills and Experience- Strong hands-on knowledge of ACI Money Transfer System (MTS) and payment processing applications.

- Good understanding of release management practices and tools such as Git or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, ownership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in QA/testing, preferably within banking, payments, or financial technology domains.
- Primary Skills: ACI MTS, payment testing, SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, test strategy, test execution, and defect management.
- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent qualification.
