Project – the aim you’ll have
We are looking for a Senior/Principal Linux Engineer with deep expertise in managing complex on-premise Linux infrastructures, lifecycle and configuration management, automation, and virtualization. You will join a senior Polish engineering team delivering managed services for a leading IT infrastructure provider in the Netherlands, working with advanced technologies across Linux distributions, automation platforms, observability stacks, and security domains such as IAM and IPAM.

Expectations – the experience you need
Advanced knowledge and experience in:
- Using, configuring and maintaining Automation Platforms (preferably AAP/AWX)
- Configuration and management of Linux distributions like RHEL, OL and Ubuntu
- Manual and automatic methods of deployment and patching for mentioned Linux distributions
- Shell scripting as well as at least one other programming language (preferably Python)
- Using Ansible to manage systems and processes and scale
- Reverse engineering of systems and platforms
- Good understanding of virtualization concepts, OpenStack knowledge a plus
- Good understanding of IaC principals
- Prometheus/Grafana/Loki based Observability stack
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation
- Project management experience
