*Hours: 20 weekly (15-20 hours, including weekends)*

*$45.00/hourly*
*Shifts: Candidates must complete 10 peak hours per week, defined as weekdays from 5 PM to 9 PM local time or weekends, spread across two or more days; schedules are set one month in advance and can be adjusted ongoing.*
Overview
The MSK Coach is the face of the HealthJoy Back & Joint (MSK) program for hundreds of members each year. Armed with technology and the leading programming for chronic pain, MSK Coaches are able to positively impact far more people than is possible in a brick and mortar clinic, all while maintaining phenomenal flexibility and more earning power. The MSK Coach curates programming for their members, holds them accountable to get through their assigned programs, and provides feedback to improve our product and programming for all members.
Responsibilities
- Onboard new members into the MSK program through introductory calls and shorter check-in calls in the first month a member is enrolled
- Help members commit to and stay accountable to their program to achieve world-class pain and function outcomes
- Adapt programming to members as needed
- Monitor member adherence and progress in order to proactively identify and reach out to “at risk” members
- Reach out to “at risk” members and respond to member questions in a timely fashion
- Work with 120 or more people in peak season of January - April to reduce their pain and improve function
- Collect glowing member testimonials and “thank you” from members whose lives you have changed for the better so that we can share that back with their employer or other HealthJoy colleagues
- Provide feedback on the programming to the rest of the coaching team to help elevate the skills of everyone and the outcomes for all members
- Provide feedback to the product and leadership team to improve our business, technology, member experience, and coaching experience
- Manage your schedule with accountability and openness - we don’t have time to micromanage
- Use the flexibility we offer to balance your member schedule and your personal life so that you can do the things you love to do with the people you love to do them with
Requirements
- Personal Trainer certification
- Strength Coach certification
- Corrective Exercise Specialist certification
- College degree
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
- Preferred: Experience in a physical therapy clinic or other healthcare setting

HealthJoy is a fully remote workplace! For Chicago based employees, we do have an office in River North that they're welcome to join, but no one is required to work from office. We value flexibility of working from home and the balance that brings.
