As a Managed Services Core Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional support and maintaining the smooth operation of our telecommunications networks. Your primary focus will be on managing and resolving complex issues, ensuring network stability, and providing timely support to our clients.
Responsibilities- Provide L2 Core support for telecommunications networks, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
- Manage incident and change management processes, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Escalate issues to vendors and external partners, maintaining effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct preventative maintenance activities to minimize network disruptions and ensure high availability.
- Monitor network performance and identify potential issues, implementing proactive measures to prevent service degradation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex network-related problems and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Document and maintain accurate records of all support activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on support activities, including incident resolution times and service level agreements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a telecommunications or network operations environment.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications networks, including core network technologies (3G, 4G and ideally 5G knowledge, with extensive knowledge of EPC- MME, S/P GW, PCRF.
- Experience with vendors like Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, HPE infra.
- Experience with datacenter infrastructure environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques for identifying and resolving network problems.
- Good understanding of incident and change management processes, including ITIL frameworks.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality support services.
