Excel VBA Developer (3-5 Years Experience)

We are seeking a highly skilled Excel VBA Developer to assist our accounting department in automating processes. 

Job Description:

The Excel VBA Developer will be responsible for collaborating with the accounting team to analyze current manual processes and automate key reporting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Excel programming, including VBA and macro development, and a proven track record of implementing automation solutions that reduce manual effort and increase data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the accounting team to understand current manual processes.

- Design and implement automated Excel solutions to streamline the creation of accounting reports and data management.

- Develop and maintain macros and VBA scripts to automate repetitive tasks and data workflows.

- Test and troubleshoot automated solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.

- Provide training and support to the accounting team on new automated processes.

- Continuously monitor and optimize existing automated reports to improve efficiency.

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of experience in Excel programming, including strong expertise in VBA and macros.

- Proven experience in automating manual processes and developing custom Excel-based tools.

- Solid understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with accounting processes and reports.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with non-technical team members.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus (not required).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with data integration and working with large datasets in Excel.

- Knowledge of other automation tools and scripting languages (such as Python or Power Query) is a plus.

- Familiarity with other financial or accounting software.
