About the Role:
The MRHC Job Shadowing position offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience and insight into the daily operations within a healthcare setting. Participants will observe and learn from experienced professionals, understanding the workflows, patient care protocols, and administrative processes that contribute to effective healthcare delivery. This role is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of various healthcare roles, fostering a deeper appreciation of interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care. By engaging in this shadowing experience, candidates will develop foundational knowledge and practical skills that support their career exploration and professional growth in the healthcare industry. Ultimately, the role aims to prepare individuals for future employment or educational pursuits by exposing them to real-world healthcare environments and challenges.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Basic understanding of healthcare environments and a strong interest in pursuing a healthcare career.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage professionally with healthcare staff and patients.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward learning.
Responsibilities:
- Observe healthcare professionals during their daily routines to understand clinical and administrative tasks.
- Engage in discussions with mentors to clarify procedures, protocols, and healthcare best practices.
- Attend meetings, rounds, or training sessions as permitted to gain broader organizational insights.
- Document observations and reflections to enhance learning and support future career decisions.
- Adhere to all confidentiality, safety, and compliance standards while on-site.
Skills:

Pay:
This is an unpaid, shadowing experience.
Monday-Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm
