Qualis LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Mid Range Capability (MRC) team within the STRIKE Project office. You will use your subject matter expertise related to systems engineering to be responsible for requirements development including new CDD incorporation to include traceability and verification. You’ll also be responsible for authoring specifications and other system documents such as the Systems Engineering Plan. You will ensure adherence to PEO policies and the MTA acquisition guidance. You will lead the MRC risk management process, as well as the digital engineering, MBSE, and MOSA efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide systems engineering subject matter expertise 
  • Review and define system requirements
  • Provide support to technical evaluations on contractor proposals
  • Develop and present briefings and reports to government customer

Required:

  • ABET accredited BS degree 
  • 5 years of experience supporting engineering for production and production planning in a major defense acquisition program office or OEM. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of systems engineering processes and procedures as it pertains to weapon systems
  • Some travel
  • Must have an in-scope DoD Secret security clearance 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience with RCCTO, Army project office, and/or PEO MS. 
  • Experience preparing briefings and documentation for senior leadership
  • Familiar with conducting reviews of entrance and exit criteria
