Who we are
FHLBank Chicago partners with our members in Illinois and Wisconsin to provide them competitively priced funding, a reasonable return on their investment in the Bank, and support for their community investment activities. We are one of 11 Federal Home Loan Banks created by Congress in 1932 as a government sponsored enterprise to support mortgage lending and community investment. We are member owned and member focused. What you’ll do
The MPF Coordinator performs a wide variety of tasks and projects in support of the MPF Program, proactively identifying and addressing procedural issues and opportunities, creating reports, managing the content of databases, and managing publication of various types of communications to external stakeholders.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Enhance Operational Efficiency: By proactively identifying and addressing procedural issues and opportunities, the MPF Coordinator ensures smoother operations and improved workflow within the MPF Program.
- Strengthen Stakeholder Communication: Coordinating and managing communications to both internal and external stakeholders, the MPF Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining clear, timely, and effective information exchange.
- Support Data-Driven Decision Making: Through meticulous management of databases, data entry, and report creation, the MPF Coordinator provides valuable insights and accurate information that support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
What you can expect:
- Supports the MPF Program on a variety of tasks requiring coordination across various stakeholders
- Coordinates communications to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manages various activities related to maintaining information in various databases or files, including monitoring and identifying relevant information and data, data entry and creation of reports.
- Performs reviews, comparisons and interpretations of various records.
- Responds timely and accurately to various information requests from internal and external partners.
- Manages various activities related to team presentations and reports, including creating and editing presentations, and ensuring timely deliveries of final products.
- Assists team in support of efforts related to meetings, events, or engagements with external customers or business partners
- Collaborates with colleagues in order to complete work effectively.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring:
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Access, Excel, Power Point
- 1-3 years’ work experience as an administrative assistant
- Strong analytical skills.
- Highly organized and detailed oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated, proactive, approachable, resourceful, strong work ethic, flexible, exercise good judgment, sound decision making and open to feedback for growth and development.
- Self-starter, ability to multi-task and attention to details is critical.
- Demonstrate inclusiveness in your day-to-day work and embrace working in a diverse and inclusive culture.
