Join our dynamic creative team as a Motion Video Editor and become the visual storyteller crafting scroll-stopping video assets enhanced with compelling motion graphics that drive real business growth for our diverse portfolio of clients, from ambitious startups to established national brands.
- Edit compelling video assets for D2C advertising campaigns across multiple platforms and formats (Meta, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
- Design and animate custom motion graphics including intros, outros, transitions, lower thirds, and kinetic typography
- Create logo animations and branded motion elements that reinforce client visual identity
- Transform raw footage from our in-house videographer into scroll-stopping ad creatives with dynamic motion enhancements
- Develop testimonial-style creative assets with engaging motion graphics that authentically showcase client success stories
- Collaborate closely with internal teams on creative ideation to generate breakthrough concepts that blend video and motion seamlessly
- Perform colour correction and grading to ensure brand-consistent, visually compelling content
- Execute sound design, audio syncing, and background music integration for professional-quality output
- Optimise videos for platform-specific requirements including aspect ratios, resolutions, and file sizes
- Create animated text overlays and graphic elements that enhance storytelling
- Leverage AI-powered editing and motion graphics tools to streamline workflow and elevate creative output
- Maintain organised asset management systems and efficient project workflows
- Manage multiple projects for different brands simultaneously, delivering quality edits and motion graphics on time with meticulous attention to detail
- Follow clear creative briefs while bringing your unique perspective and motion design expertise
- Ensure all client needs are met while maintaining consistent quality and brand alignment across your portfolio
- Adapt visual styles and motion design approaches to suit diverse brand identities and campaign objectives
- Edit organic footage with motion graphics for Public Nectar's own marketing and brand promotion
- Actively participate in team meetings, contributing unique perspectives for cohesive and effective creative approaches
- Continuously experiment with new motion graphics techniques, transitions, and visual effects to create better results for clients
- Stay ahead of the curve with the latest trends in video editing, motion design, platform best practices, and AI tools
- Work closely with the creative team to align on strategy, push creative boundaries, and elevate visual storytelling standards
- Contribute to the development of motion graphics templates and systems for scalable production
- Use AI tools daily to increase speed, output, and quality
- Build automations, internal tools, bots, and workflows
- Experiment with new AI tools and models as they launch
- Constantly look for ways to compound output using technology
- 3+ years of professional video editing experience with strong motion graphics capabilities, preferably in digital marketing
- Proven track record of creating engaging short-form content for social media platforms (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards
- Portfolio showcasing both video editing excellence and motion graphics work
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of work without requiring constant supervision
- Fluent English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic approach to creative challenges
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing
- Strong expertise in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, animations, and visual effects
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Understanding of colour correction, grading principles, and visual tone
- Experience with sound design, audio editing, and music integration
- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and platform-specific technical requirements
- Familiarity with social media video specifications and best practices across major platforms
- Strong sense of timing, pacing, rhythm, and emotional storytelling
- Eye for design, composition, typography, and visual hierarchy in motion
- Natural visual storyteller with keen sense of what makes content engaging and performant
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comfortable taking ownership of projects while being a collaborative team player
- Self-motivated with ability to manage feedback constructively and adapt quickly
- Up to date with current trends in video editing, motion graphics, and social media content
- Previous experience in the eCommerce or D2C advertising space
- Knowledge of performance marketing principles and what makes ads convert
- Experience working with AI-enhanced editing and motion graphics tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Runway ML, Midjourney, ChatGPT for creative concepts)
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve for advanced colour grading
- Understanding of different social media platforms and their unique creative requirements
- 3D motion graphics experience or Cinema 4D knowledge
- Experience with UGC content editing and creator collaboration
- Background working in a fast-paced agency environment
- Experience mentoring or training junior team members
- Understanding of conversion rate optimisation and how visual elements impact performance
- Fully integrated into our creative workflows with strong relationships across the team
