The opportunity

Our UK Creative team is expanding, and we are looking for a Mid-Weight Motion Designer to join our truly multi-disciplinary team of practitioners. Together we conceive, create and deliver the highest quality communication programmes, advertising campaigns, social media content plans, and product marketing for our clients.

We’re looking for a Mid-Weight Motion Designer with a passion for their craft and a purpose-driven perspective. They’ll be confident working on 2D animations, motion graphics and video edits. They’ll also be comfortable bringing storyboards to life as well as seeing the opportunities to push our creativity further and make recommendations that elevate our motion pieces.

Position within the agency

The Mid-Weight Motion Designer will work alongside a team of forty plus other creatives covering the full range of creative disciplines. The Mid-Weight Motion Designer will report to a Senior Motion Designer.

Working across the entire spectrum of our clients, they’ll play a key role in unlocking the creative potential in every brief. They will have access to the whole range of supporting services such as Business Development and Marketing, Integration and Operations, HR and Finance.

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years experience in an agency (or similar) role 

• You’ll be a skilled and experienced user of creative industry standard software After Effects and Premiere, whilst being comfortable using InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc

• You have a good eye and design skills that include typography, layout, composition and an understanding of branding
• Passionate about using motion to tell compelling stories
• You will seamlessly be able to integrate graphics and text into engaging and polished deliverables
• A keenness to learn, and an open mind
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and support a workflow that allows working files to be easily picked up by others
• Effective organisational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to interact well with a variety of people at different levels
• Friendly and receptive demeanour
• A strong eye for detail and consistency
• Comfortable developing content across multiple platforms 
• Knowledge of workflows within a post-production environment
• You’ll be a team player who is also happy working on their own and getting stuck into the task at hand
