Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring all operations comply with company, state, and client safety standards.
- Coordinate the distribution and placement of traffic control signs and markers according to designated plans.
- Supervise the setup, maintenance, and teardown of work zones, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Lead by example in lifting, carrying, and placing traffic cones and assembling traffic control signs as needed.
- Train and mentor flaggers on proper techniques for directing traffic through work zones.
- Ensure trucks and equipment are well-organized and maintained for operational readiness.
- Direct traffic movement through work sites using signals and signage effectively.
- Must have FDOT MOT Supervisor Certification
- Compliance with all safety regulations is mandatory.
- Knowledge of federal motor carrier safety regulations is also required.
- Must work in all weather conditions and prepared for both extreme heat and cold.
- Must be available to work over-time.
- Must pass post offer pre-employment drug screen and background check.
